Checkers Bistro – I have a special place in my heart for this restaurant. All you need to do is sit at the bar and talk with the ladies and your day is perfect! And the duck tacos as an appetizer are the harbinger of an excellent meal. You can’t go wrong, time and time again.
Avanti Osteria – Who wants a little French, influenced Italian food? This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Lancaster County. The food is amazing and is reminiscent of food from the Piedmont region of Italy. It’s really tasty.
Aussie and the Fox – This is a special place with a special vibe. The food is Australian influenced and truly unique. The bartender has been chosen as one of the top bartenders in the country.
The Pressroom – Great menu, cool atmosphere and the bar is amazing. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy pub fair and beyond
Federal Tap House – One word, Beer! Well, maybe two more words or thoughts, Duck fat French fries and wood fired pizza.
Annie Baily’s - A great way to start off your weekend is to go to this Irish Pub. The atmosphere is awesome, the food is good and the onion soup is amazing! A cup is all you need though!
Vinolas – Don’t let the name full you, this is not an Italian Restaurant. It’s a pub with flare. There is a little something for everyone here from chicken and fish to salads and great appetizer. And it don’t stop there, the sandwiches and pizza choices are unique.
General Sutter Inn – An historic inn in the coolest town of all America offers the perfect backdrop to a wonderful meal. Both inside and outside dining available along with an old time British Pub all compliment the chef’s varied American menu
Tomato Pie Café – Although there is plenty on the menu, you would be remiss not to enjoy a slice of their namesake.
Shady Maple – The king of all Smorgasbords; enough said! You’ll enjoy true Pennsylvania Dutch cooking here.
Lickity Split – Nominated as one of the top ice cream shops in America, this little gem serves up a variety of great ice cream treats. Don’t stop at Ice Cream, there’s plenty of other indulgences here as well.
