Lancaster County Bed & Breakfast Serves Dinner
It's official! Innkeeper Carl Kosko will once again put on his Chef's Hat offering his guests at the Harvest Moon Bed & Breakfast a one of a kind experience here in Lancaster County. Breakfasts at the Harvest Moon have been just enough to tease our guests with asking for more. Well, our Bed & Breakfast Guests now will have the chance to enjoy all the same great experiences they've come to know in the morning during the evening hours. Our first meal will be on June 27 with a menu just in time for summer.
The menu is a prix fix menu offering Appetizer, Salad, Entree and Dessert. There will be two different Entrees to choose from and the menu will vary according to the season.
Our first menu will be:
Appetizer: Turf and Sea - Grilled Asian Plum BBQ lamb chop and Crabmeat and Misty Creek Dairy Cheesecake
Salad: Chopped Salad - Local Micro Greens topped with Linden Dale Farms Laughing Lindy Cheese, Maple Cured Bacon, chopped egg and a Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
Entrees:
Local Organic Chicken Breast - Topped with farm picked Asparagus, Lump Crabmeat and Kings Creamery Camembert Cheese finished with a dill butter white wine sauce. Served with fire roasted local beets and a wheatberry wild rice cake.
Beef Stroganoff - A classic favorite with a bit of a twist! Local, Grass Fed Beef Tenderloin finished in a sauce of wild mushrooms, shallots and cream. Served with homemade thyme scented Spatzle and honey butter topped asparagus.
Dessert: Warm Spiced Plum Crisp topped with Lapp Valley Farms Vanilla Ice Cream
Price for this Four Course Meal is at 60.00 plus tax and gratuity per person.
