1. Brecknock Orchards –
Just a beautiful short drive from the Harvest Moon is Brecknock Orchards. They have been around for 75 years. This family run farm specializes in tree fruit, berries and all types of vegetables. They have a large selection of fruit and vegetables to pick for yourself. Deep in the countryside, you'll be sure to enjoy taking the family here. 2. Cherry Hill Orchards –
Offering a safe "homegrown" alternative to the supermarkets, Cherry Hill Orchards has been practicing conservation and stewardship for many years. Along with the fruit and vegetables one will find at Cherry Hill, you'll also be able to enjoy fresh baked goods as well. At there market, they have all kinds of great fall decorations including pumpkins, straw bales and gourds.
3. Leids Orchard –
With over 20 varieties of apples, and many other offerings of fresh fruit and vegetables, Leids Orchard, near New Holland is deep in the Amish and Mennonite Countryside. Hidden on the back roads near Welsh Mountain, you'll enjoy a stop here with all of there made fresh baked goods and wholesome jarred fresh fruit.
4. Beilers Fruit Farm –
Belier's Fruit Farm is a great stop on Welsh Mountain. An area of Lancaster County remote and quiet, Belier's is another family run establishment that offers varied goods throughout the year. Here you'll enjoy shopping for local honey, Amish and Mennonite made preserves and all kinds of pickles and chow chows. Don't forget the apple cider, you'll for sure be impressed and happy you stopped.
5. Weavers Orchard –
Want to spend the day at the Orchard? This is the place. With fall events, live music and season passes, Weaver's offers something for everyone.
